Despite its proximity to a mainline railway, the peaceful setting and stunning views more than made up for any slight noise disturbance. For those looking for family-friendly activities, the hotel offers excellent options for golfing, fishing, and cycling. As an avid cyclist, I took advantage of the beautiful trails surrounding the hotel, while my children enjoyed trying their hand at fishing in the nearby river. The hotel itself was equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We found the location to be ideal for exploring the picturesque town of Shrewsbury and the surrounding villages. Our experience at this hotel was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to families looking for a peaceful retreat in the British countryside.
